PRIMARY PURPOSE:

• Use your Python and SQL skills to assist in data analysis and solve data transformation problems.
• Work closely with our specialist financial analytics team and data teams to engineer solutions that deliver effective and scalable data transformation results
• Take responsibility for delivering assigned data preparation tasks with minimal supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Independently perform basic data tasks using existing tools including Excel, SQL, Python, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks and Power Automate
• Ensure data is organised, complete, accurate and of high quality using existing dashboard and checklists
• Create or update schemas for analysts using existing script repositories
• Work alongside team members to improve data quality and efficiency 
• Automate manual & repetitive processes 
• In addition to the details listed above and below, you may be required to perform additional duties that are considered within your role and skill level

REQUIREMENTS:

• Undergraduate degree or similar in related field
• 1+ years professional experience in Python, BI and SQL development or operational or support role  
• 1+ years professional experience or qualifications in data modelling and/or database administration 
• Intermediate English, computer literacy 
• Excellent problem-solving skills 
• Able to quickly understand diverse data from several clients in different industries 
• Detail-oriented and highly motivated
• Able to work under pressure and adapt to change
• Team Player
• English CV is required

Advantageous but not required:

• Cloud Data Warehousing and/or cloud computing services experience  
• Experience working in an Agile environment 
• Financial data experience
